Social value at Dot Collective
Built in, not bolted on.
We build platforms that help organisations take a leap forward. We think the way we run our own business should hold up to the same standard. Social value isn't a separate initiative for us. It's reflected in how we hire, how we pay, how we support our people, and how we operate day to day. Here's where we stand today, in line with the UK Government's Social Value Model (PPN 002).
Supporting a clean energy future
We maintain a Carbon Reduction Plan and are committed to reaching net zero by 2040. Our progress is independently recognised through Positive Planet Certified accreditation, a credible, third-party standard for organisations demonstrating genuine, ongoing sustainability progress, not just an offsetting exercise.
Breaking down barriers to opportunity
We partner with Generation UK & Ireland to open hiring pathways for people early in their careers, and our team actively takes part in the Social Mobility Foundation's mentoring programme - supporting learners directly through mentoring and skills sessions.
Building a workforce fit for the future
We invest in our people from day one. Every employee gets immediate access to mental health support, private healthcare, dental care, and life insurance. No waiting periods, no tiers to earn into.
Kickstarting economic growth
We're the only professional services consultancy in the UK with a 0% gender pay gap and we're committed to keeping it that way. Salaries are benchmarked regularly against the market, and every role sits within a structured competency framework backed by mandatory training, so growth here is tracked, not assumed. We're equally deliberate about who we work with: we're committed to a resilient, diverse supply chain, including active engagement with SME suppliers.
Supporting safer communities
Every member of our team completes Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks at the point of onboarding. Our Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy protects staff and third parties from harassment in the course of our work, backed by mandatory training. And because keeping data and systems safe is itself a community safety issue, we hold Cyber Essentials Plus certification across the business, giving our clients, and the people they serve, real assurance that what we handle is protected against common cyber threats.
