Give to Gain: International Women’s Day 2026

Happy International Women’s Day!

At Dot Collective, gender equality is something that means a lot to us, and to be honest, we don’t need a specific day to remember how important it is. We’ve never viewed equality as a once-a-year celebration. It’s not a campaign. It’s not a caption. And it’s definitely not just a tick box exercise in March.

From day one, we’ve maintained a zero gender pay gap*. Not as a headline, but as a baseline. Equal pay for equal contribution isn’t aspirational for us; it’s operational and integral to the way we work.

However, pay equity is just one part of the conversation.

True inclusion means creating space where women’s ideas are heard without interruption. Where leadership pathways are visible and accessible. For us, it’s about respect, flexibility, and making sure all voices are heard.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme, Give to Gain, reminds us that momentum matters. This means giving support, calling out stereotypes, challenging discrimination, questioning bias, and celebrating women's success.

Change doesn’t happen because we post about it. It happens because we measure it, commit to it, and hold ourselves accountable to it.

We also want to highlight that our experience is not universal. Around the world, many women continue to face barriers to education, employment, safety and basic human rights.

We stand in solidarity with women who are fighting for freedoms and opportunities that many of us are fortunate to experience. Progress should not depend on geography.

Leadership in Action

At Dot Collective, inclusion is not driven by policy alone. It is shaped by leadership.

Our CEO and Co-Founder, Svetlana Tarnagurskaja, built this business with equity as a baseline, not a benefit. From pay transparency to progression pathways, those standards were set at the start and have remained non-negotiable.

Representation at leadership level changes conversations. It influences decisions. It sets expectations.

From Opportunity into Impact

One of the clearest ways we see inclusion in action at Dot Collective is through the journeys of women like Lee Ing, Data Analyst.

Lee did not follow a traditional route into tech. After studying Biological Sciences, she retrained through an intensive bootcamp and joined The Dot Collective Academy to transition into data. Through determination, curiosity and the support of her mentors, she earned both Academy Graduate of the Year and Rising Star awards before progressing within the business.

Advice for the Next Generation of Women

When asked what advice she would give to women entering tech, Lee’s answer is simple. Be curious. Learn everything you can. Then put it into practice and prove to yourself that you can do it.

That mindset reflects what International Women’s Day stands for. Confidence. Growth. Action.

This International Women’s Day, we want to say a huge thank you to the amazing women who work at Dot Collective. We hope you continue to feel supported and treated equally throughout your journey with us.

If these values resonate with you and you want to work somewhere where women feel and are truly valued, take a look at our current job openings. We would love to hear from you.
